BMW filed for an official protest against Williams, Toyota, and Brawn to the F-1 commissioners. At the center of the controversy are the rear diffusers that the three teams have used. The aerodynamics of these three teams are clearly superior to that of the competition.  It is believed that FIA will issue an official statement on the issue on April 14th in Paris.  Other teams have followed suit and have issued similar statements regarding the diffusers claiming their use amounts to an unfair advantage.
